I am married to Di and have 2 grown up children, Samantha and Gemma. I am also a proud granddad of 2 girls with a third girl on the way.  I have always worked in the Accountancy profession since I left school at 15.  I have been in several Rock bands including 100% Proof and Thin Ice during the 1970’s and 80’s.  I love rock music and believe that God can speak through this genre.  God has blessed the bands that I have been in, none more so than the Preds, where we have seen so many young (and old) finding Christ at our gigs.
 

Di & I also ran a house group from our original home in Bramhall for young converts from our gigs, along with teen Christians. God blessed that greatly and it developed into 2 groups, led by 2 young men who had grown up through the original group, after we moved to our current home in Dukinfield.  We spent 10 years at Ford's Lane Evangelical Church in Bramhall before moving to New Life Church in Dukinfield.  After 22 years serving at New Life in the Youth and Worship team, both in which I became a leader, God used both me and Di in powerful and effective ways.
 

We have recently moved to Revival Church in Stalybridge where we have seen God bring this Church back from the dead in just a year and are experiencing a second wind in our walk with God.  I’m hoping that the Preds get the chance to reach the lost again as we look for gigs where we can bring the good news using our music and sharing our faith.  Despite the years the dynamic is still there when the band plays live so come along and see for yourself what God is doing now and experience something completely different.
